Drawing and colour are my main interests and I find batik is the perfect medium to combine and express both. I work figuratively using wax as a
painting medium and I am inspired by colour, natural forms, people and the world around me.
The work on show is a small cross section of my range but I hope it gives an insight of my style and medium. Portraits are what I find most inspiring
and rewarding, working closely with the sitter and allowing much scope for the creative process.
