My series of monoprints are tranquil images of nature that surround me; hazy summer cornfields, winter ponds with deep ultramarine blue and

their ever changing light and reflections, and misty sunrise mornings.

I create my monoprints by rolling coloured inks onto Perspex, which are in turn printed onto etching paper. I then add texture and detail  by wiping

off and scraping into the ink with various tools, and then I print and rework and print again on top of the image until I am satisfied. The results are

often unexpected, which is for the most part exciting and rewarding.
